Essential Question
Why is oxygen necessary if we can make energy without it?
We have learned about the processes plants go through to make glucose and oxygen, during Photosynthesis. Now we are going to jump over to the animal world and check out what we do with those items!! GLUCOSE and OXYGEN are main resources we need to survive. Our bodies break down glucose in our mitochondria to produce energy that powers all of our organs!!! Oxygen is essential for the process of Cellular Respiration as well. Get ready for more vocabulary and processes!!!!
