BIOMOLECULES

Essential Question

WHAT ARE THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF LIFE?

Biomolecules are the basic building blocks of life.  Everything that is living, contains one or more of the 4 biomolecules.
1. Carbohydrates
2. Lipids
3. Proteins
4. Nucleic Acids
I CAN STATEMENTS
  1. I CAN EXPLAIN THE FUNCTION OF AN ENZYME.
  2. I CAN IDENTIFY A BIO-MOLECULE BY ITS STRUCTURE AND/OR FUNCTION
Use this video as a resource to help with all of the new vocabulary.  There are great explanations, examples and diagrams to help with any confusion you may have
